Sitz Baths

It’s basically a small bath that is designed so a person can place their posterior in it. Add about three to four inches of lukewarm water to the bathtub. Soak your private parts in it for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not add bath soap, bubble bath, or any such product to the water. Pat dry the area properly and gently after the soak. Do this thrice a day.

Garlic

It has anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties This will help relieve the pain and swelling quickly. For external piles, peel three to four garlic cloves. Boil them in the water for 10 minutes. Strain and cool this water in the refrigerator. Soak a cotton pad in this water and place it on the anus for 10 to 15 minutes. For internal piles, peel a garlic clove and press it a little so that the juices oozes out slightly. Place this inside the rectum and leave it overnight. You can repeat often during the day.



Rich Fibre Foods

One of the main problem of haemorroids is passing stools. Stools can be difficult and can cause bleeding. Having enough fibre in your diet, makes it easier. However, if constipation is the cause of your problem, haemorrhoids can subside. Therefore, it is advisable to consume 30 to 35 grams of fibre in a day to treat haemorroids. Have enough amount of fiber-rich foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, etc. to be free from piles.

Tea Tree Oil

It has antimicrobial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Due to these, it can treat skin conditions such as allergies. It can also prevent microbial infections and accelerate the healing of damaged blood vessels with its antioxidant activity. Applying tea tree oil to the affected area can relieve the pain, itching, and burning sensation due to the swollen blood vessels. Apply tea tree oil to the affected area on the rim of the anus using a soft cloth or cotton wool. It is better to mix a few drops of tea tree oil with a carrier like coconut oil, castor oil, or almond oil to avoid itching and irritation.

Aloe Vera for Piles

It has endless list for its medicinal values. It’s therapeutic and anti-inflammatory properties can help relieve your piles discomfort. You can also consume aloe vera juice to reduce the painful swelling of piles. Cut a fresh aloe vera leaf. Extract the gel from the leaf and apply topically for external piles. Leave the gel on for 10 to 15 minutes. However, for an internal piles, remove the thorns from the leaf carefully and cut it into small strips. Place this in the freezer for some time. Insert this cool aloe leaf into the anus for a few minutes. Do this until you get relieve.

Coconut Oil

Applying coconut oil gives relief from the burning and itching caused by haemorrhoids. It reduces the pain and inflammation. It is also serve as a wide-range antimicrobial agent. Wash your hands thoroughly and apply virgin coconut oil to the affected area. You can apply it twice or thrice a day.
